Hey, anybody know whta happen to Chan Fung?

He hasn't been on air for more than 1 month. I heard some controversy going on.

Anyone knows wat the reason?

his contract was never renewed by 988 coz his salary too high.

ya, he no need to be with the radio station.
if any company having a function and need a good MC..he can earn more as function MC

there also i think can't match his demand lar...

frankly, these days i find that the morning shows from 7.00 till 8 is better than previously with chan fung around. also, even after that i think it is fresher and more funnier at times. except that, every friday midnite no more chan fung, hehe, less one leisure to listen when coming back from yumcha.

anybody care to tell what's so good about chan fung? never reli liked him

it was good to hear him flaming other listeners who called to the radio station.. that was few years back when i still listen to radio.. nowadays i only listen to myfm when i feel bored

I think he's concentrating on his own biz. If I am not mistaken he's a boss for some advertising agency. No need to DJ anymore.

ya i agree sometime tune in on friday nite but he wasnt there.. replaced with a female tat female less confident while giving advice.. i agree also chan fong got less patience... if u err.. many times then he ll ask u to call again

ya, some more he is ambassador for Diamond, i'm sure Diamond pay him alot plus doing some freelance function MC, he can earn more than what he had as DJ

Oic contract issue. I tot he was fired because he said something wrong on the radio haha...

he actually runs a creative agency together with wife. DJ-ing is just a passion.

I only miss friday night with Chan Foong flaming program...i miss he voice...he such a good DJ...

damn... he's gone for real? i thought he's just taking a long break.

i also like his flaming program... sometimes really gives the listener good advice... or at least makes u think more about it

Taking long break I normally heard from other 988 DJ, when listener call in and ask where is Chan Fung. But what i read from the newspaper is the contract thingy. He has gone for 2+ months, and i hardly heard his voice until one recent ad, it's... Chan Fung's voice!

Me too, friday 11pm-2am i will turn on 988 wan, whether is flaming or giving advice, it is nice to hear. Miss that man.
