This is the time when you need at least 28mm focal length. brows.gif Been through so many cities and countries and witness so many amazing landscapes but limited by 38mm focal length. sad.gif

A way to overcome this limitation is to use panorama. Did you do any panorama when in Cameron? I'm sure it will be fabulous.

There are blown out skies in some of your pictures and also noticeable chromatic aberrations. Thanks for sharing.

You don't need a tripod to do panorama. All my daytime panoramas are done without a tripod.

Try and use a CPL when you have the chance. It does help a lot in too bright situations.

No, I don't have any CPL. Even with CPL, it will reduce the glare and step down to a stop or two, on the whole frame. Unless it's a ND gradient filter.

You should add a CPL to your accessory list. Attached an example of a picture taken with the CPL. It was taken in bright sunlight. No PP done, just resize.

How do I use the CPL filter?
I've one, when I turn, I get different colors?

Here is a good site that shows you how to use a CPL.
