We got Codemasters forum for programming langauges
We got Arts & Designs for computer graphics
We got Photography, Digital Imaging & Video for photography

but I can't find any suitable forum to discuss about webpage devolopement. maybe i missed it?
i think there are alot website owners here and we can discuss and exchange thoughts about managing our website, isnt it?

and perhaps there are also coders for internet forums, HTML, php, and others, which I yet find any really suitable forum to discuss about all these.

Mod/admin can you please suggest me a place where i can discuss about choosing internet forums, controlling website traffics, modifying php codes, javascripts, HTML, and something like that?

perhaps we can ask admin to look into the need for a website forum?

A webmastering subforum could be opened up I suppose, but care needs to be taken to design it such that it doesn't overlap too much with Arts & Design (for creative discussions) and Codemasters (for programming discussions).

Perhaps we could merge it with Blogsentral and Malaysian Blogosphere? Blogging community can benefit from the creation/merge of such forum as well. Some topic in Blogsentral and Malaysian Blogosphere does already discussing such as page ranking, blog traffic and such once a while.

but i think those blogcentral should be under the website forum, instead of merging. since blogging is part of the website content, and blog is like the same level with internet galleries, forums, etc, which lies below the [ web development ]

there's actually many things can discuss under website developments, like ASP, CMS, apache, bsd, etc etc

Blog sub forum - a good subforum for Web Development forum
Codemaster - Nah... some of the programming code doesn't related to web.
Arts & Design - Same... half of it might not related to web.

Maybe some others will suggest...
Software - nothing much, same. Half of the software doesn't concern on web development.

My suggestion is, if you want to have a web development on specific issue, maybe can head to the particular forum and ask. Generals idea is far more better than specific only. (Tell me I'm wrong , if I do.)

brought this up quite a few times already (even when i was a mod). no response yet, i think Admins are busy.

I think the best way is
- LYN Blogosphere put under Lifestyle, along with the rest of the subforums.

i think slight overlapping is fine. at present, OC United and HW Q&A are some what related. sames goes to Codemaster and Art & Design with elements of web design spread between the 2.

Does anyone want to volunteer themselves to moderate the webmasters forum? (if and when it's made)
