As long as your backup drive is bigger than the drive that is being backed up, you should be fine.

Time Machine is smart enough to delete older files once the drive's full. You don't even have to partition your HDD, TM will only occupy a folder on the drive.

I've tried it, but I don't see how it's useful to me. Maybe I should give it another go. The space thingy looks really cool. biggrin.gif
