to download google maps, switch on ur wifi or if u prefer u can also use 3g or hspda to download the software....then go to www.google.com/maps...the website will auto detect ur phone and a pop out will prompt u to install google maps software...cheers...

Strange that not everyone has the same battery life...

BTW I set network to GSM (as my area 3G not stable always flip between 3G and GSM), and screen brightness to lowest (still very readable most of the time even under sun light except taking photos which hard to see what's going on).

Call (roughly 15~20 mins per day) and SMS without touching camera and others can tahan up to 3 1/2 days leh... hmm.gif
*
i really think that by using only GSM connection adn turning off UMTS would save some power...my with my usage of sms, 2hrs of music/radio, no camera, no rotateme and 10 mins calls daily...my phone can last 2days+ before warning comes....i would say battery is quite good for this phone....

on another note, i guess that the price for avaxx n95 8gb is still hovering around 2800 is becoz this phone has no direct competitors as yet...thats y nokia still can afford to price this phone at this price... nod.gif

today i use my gps to drive from pj to kepong...so on the way there i close the slide and i found out that the gps becomes less responsive as in like the current speed, arrow on the map are very slow to update (lag)...and when i open the slide everything seems to be in real time...so my question here is...does opening and closing the slides affects the gps connection as well as refresh rate of my current position? from today's expenrience i found out that opening the slides really improves everything...

Is there any software that I can convert .avi file to mp4? I already use the Nokia Nseries Video Manager but it takes long time to convert a single .avi file (700mb).
Any idea?
*
SUPER converter is quite ok in my opinion...
