Currently, for the transfer of ownership of a company vehicle (Kelas Kegunaan: Persendirian – Motokar Syarikat) to a private individual, I was told that the company director’s biometric thumbprint verification can be carried out at the company’s premises instead of at a JPJ branch, by engaging a JPJ runner or similar service.

However, the JPJ website states that the registered owner (seller) or their authorised representative is required to be physically present for biometric fingerprint authentication.

May I kindly ask whether there are JPJ runners who provide mobile biometric verification services at company premises, without requiring attendance at a JPJ branch? All necessary documentation, such as the board resolution for the transfer and the B5 PUSPAKOM vehicle inspection, can be prepared and obtained in advance.

Additionally, for the Klang Valley area, could you please advise on the current market rate for engaging a JPJ runner for this type of service?
