CelcomDigi already upgraded its One Ultra plan (RM300) with 500Mbps Fibre Broadband.

Yet Maxis Family Plan 299 is still stuck with 30Mbps Fibre Broadband.

30Mbps. That is 3 steps down on the Fibre Broadband bandwidth package.

500 > 300 > 100 > 30

You can't even subscribe to 30Mbps now. It does not exist anymore.

So is Maxis going to upgrade its Family plan fibre bandwidth? Or should users port-out to CelcomDigi?

One big reason why I still stay on Time even after countless invitation from Maxis (I'm a long term Maxis user) and was tempted to take the family plan.

Apa ke bodoh just give 30mbps. Do they think this is 2010 ke?

While I do not like it, 30Mbps is more than enough for a small family and can play YouTube in 1080p without an issue.

First, ask yourself if you really need the unlimited mobile data.

Second, just port to another telco if you find the deal is better for you.

Customer should not be loyal to a business but the other way around.

I have like more than 15 devices link to the network and need internet connection at home. So 30mbps is definitely not enough.

Obviously, this plan isn't targeted at you. This plan is for a small family who value unlimited mobile data more than home broadband.

Just port out. In 2025 30mbps fibre internet is not relevan anymore.
If they ask, tell it to their face, Celcomdigi ONE Ultra provide three unlimited postpaid lines with 500mbps home fibre at Rm300.
