Most people r economic migrants, not settlers. After 3 years they all flock to big cities. No effect

after 3 years, if the PR have already established themselves , they may not move.
Furthermore , every year will have fresh application that will be migrating to the area.

Its not as simple as "after 3 years they all flock to big cities"

Depending on "regional" location the retention rate after 10 years can be as high as 70%, or as low as 30%, depending on the area

that is the rules.
they not welcome or they cannot find job.
Means they have to leave Oz all together.

usually Oz government already survey... these area.. need worker.
whether is farm , or retailers ,etc ....
most of the time , you won't be working the job that you studied for

Good study.

I think this policy is brilliant. To disperse new residents out

there is a reason they tied you to regional area and why people dont leave.

if you have kids, all settled down moving is also a big hassle.

if you are paid 100k a year, you can easily afford to save and buy big house and property in regional towns....

no chance in Sydney where condo are touching 1m, with melb following close behind. Perth consider FIFO mining town, everything expensive cause they are all paid very well

I got fren in SA also, big house with many cars....

if you are in the mining industry and you have the skill they want then is a big win as they are mostly located remotely
