iirc >75yo they will not operate, but if the patient is below dat age, definitely ask the oncologist about surgical option

My mom was diagnosed with Stage 2 colorectal cancer in Aug.
She is much older than 75.

She had laparoscopic surgery to remove her ascending colon.
No further treatment was advised. She has her colonoscopy appointment in 6 months though.



But yea la. If you weigh costs and benefits objectively without any emotion, then it is perhaps
not a financially sound decision to spend so much on an old bird... 😁
