Wait till tuition, and other classes start, it's not me time, it's driving time

My weekend is even more tiring than workdays lol

9am driving starts, back home at sun down

Plus the amount of money spend on child, then you will start think when only can upgrade pc again or have budget for it

When they are still little they will stick to u more.

Once they reached 8 above they will do their own things already and started to ignore u.

So treasure every moment with them.

spend some time for yourself too, when I saw many uncles in old folks, feel sad. They are waiting for their child come for a visit and some child prefer to settle oversea

to further add, if your kid diagnosed with autism, this can easily become RM3k min.

this is not like down syndrome where it's 100% genetic. you'll only know autism positive/negative once kid between age 2-6

True la. Nowadays no joy in gaming anymore. Back of my head whenever i "enjoy" gaming i feel worse because that enjoyment should be shared with my kids.

Also games now really not in healthy ecosystem. Most need you to spend insane amount of hours and attention. Because most want to make u as frustrated to trigger the competitive beast inside of u and then passively trying to coerce u into spending the right amount of money to "save time".

My current "me time" is now 11pm when everyone finally asleep, mostly spent on ironing clothes while watching some free and easy movies. Rewatching futurama and south park is surprisingly refreshing.

Hi gais

Just sharing my journey

Now I know why some people getting slowly leaving their own hobby and me time.

It's because the realisation that, the time spent with their kids cannot be brought back.

i've lost the thought of gaming, even console, pc, or mobile gaming does not attracts me anymore.

i'm sure down the line, i will return back playing games. but for now, i rather see my kid grow up, play with me.

the joy to see his smile running up to me shouting "daddy!" when i got back from work.

that's the best feeling ever.

sure financially it's not easy. if i calculate the monthly bajet, easily i can have a good gaming pc in 6 months.

but, cannot compare time with my boy, my junior.

he is 2.5 years now.  icon_rolleyes.gif

for those new fathers out there, be patient. find a channel to share the struggles and keep going.

BTW you can start gaming switch 2 with your 6years old kid with Mario Kart
fun times to hangout with certain family games
