there was time, when i was attached an American company just started up in Msia. Was appointed as their as their scout to develop an operations in Msia.
i have identified a few local companies as subcons and suppliers to produce parts and components for assembly. unfortunately, some of the parts were crucifix and christian related material.
Though the local companies were not muslims owned but they do employ muslims employees. The bosses were terrified to the max to produce such parts. They told me all it takes is just 1 muslim employee to file a complaint and they are screwed for good. Though some liberal and moderate muslim friends that i knew and was working in these companies told me that it is not wrong as long as there is no proselytization taking place. employees are just making and earning a living.
too bad, if only Msia was moderate because these orders coming in for Msia is not small. 1st year projection, was four to six 40' containers a month, 2nd year onwards, at least eight 40' containers a month.

talking about cross. My primary school La Salle has a cross on the building wall for decades, but the past 10++ years I heard got problem with authority . Now the cross was colored same color with the building , making it less obvious.

this is an area with 90% nons until early 2000s, got new PPR flats being built , so giving presence to more Malays there I suposed. This means certain "things" must change in the name of sensitivity.

And they call this progress.
