 Same laywer for SPA and bank loan

Hi, I just booked a sub sale apartment. I am thinking to use the same lawyer for both bank loan and SPA. They said it is cheaper and faster right? Can save how much money and time roughly using the same laywer? lets say property price is RM300k

Generally cheaper… and less hassle cause only need to deal with 1 party..
I’ve PM’ed based on my personal experience..

Yes, that should be the case.

If you don't have a reason to go with 2 different lawyers, its generally better.

1. Better price (since do 2 transactions with them).
2. Better continuity (they know what is happening, generally).
3. One stop for you, no need to go 2 locations.
4. Saves time.

normally, only when you sell the property.. it's better to have separate lawyers

It save seller more for using same lawyer. Buyer still pay as per SPA purchase amount

use 1 lawyer will simplify your process when you completed the loan and redeem the grant.. that's in 30years time!..( sooner if you're a squirrel)..

yes, can use same one for both.

However, dont use the same lawyer as seller. Use your own one.
Seller lawyer usually will side to the seller more than you.

Yea just make sure the spa lawyer has panelling with the financing bank..

This means you are unrepresented in both transactions. The lawyer is acting for seller and bank.

You are not represented by anyone but yourself.

SO BETTER HAVE YOUR OWN TRUSTED LAWYER.

FOR MONIES, PLEASE TELL LAWYER, THE MONEY SHOULD BE IN A BANKERS CHEQUE IN RECIPENT NAME AND NOT BANK INTO LAWYERS BANK ACCOUNT.

IF YOU BANK INTO LAWYER BANK ACCOUNT- LAWYER CAN CHOW WITH YOUR MONEY.
