I think learning extra languages is an advantage to our students. Tak kisah lah what language. We shouldn't block them from pursuing knowledge.

However bahasa kebangsaan is Bahasa Melayu, so that should be the criteria if you are looking for entry requirements.

It is like if you look for entry to universities in other countries, they may require you to show proof of proficiency in that language.

Get the fact right.

UEC is only if you willing to take it.

Seriously though, my personal take is that we want the students to not only understand their classes but also integrate well into campus life. In universities, it isn't just exams, but our students need to collaborate, form networks, and pave the foundations for their future careers. It would be good if our national language can be the common language for our graduates.

You also know PMX favorite hobby is using words everyone needs to check the dictionary for right, lol.
