I think learning extra languages is an advantage to our students. Tak kisah lah what language. We shouldn't block them from pursuing knowledge.

However bahasa kebangsaan is Bahasa Melayu, so that should be the criteria if you are looking for entry requirements.

Seriously though, my personal take is that we want the students to not only understand their classes but also integrate well into campus life. In universities, it isn't just exams, but our students need to collaborate, form networks, and pave the foundations for their future careers. It would be good if our national language can be the common language for our graduates.
