Windows is just for gaming (and work).
Not much of my own privacy is at stake there. I don’t mind letting Microsoft know which games I like to play the most.

For my own personal day to day use, I prefer macOS.

It’s good that they’re really supporting running more games on Steam OS / Linux or even Android.

But there are still ways to go.
Performance on discrete gpu is still better on windows.
And steam OS still cannot run games like battlefield 6.

The problem is windows is bundled with laptop and less model has option to choose no os. Therefore ppl will continue because you already paid for it anyway, and most ppl just want to use the computer and not go to the technical parts.

Every single one of the developer is a scammer. They only suck your money when they can provide most of it for free. They can charge people to pay their working salary but they mark up exorbitant price for the software. It's like when you see the tree just cut it, it's free. Later they export to sell it at higher price, profitable business. They never grow the tree at first place, just get it as will. Bye.

At this point, we can only select the least "evil" option as users.

though linux has left its infant stage and being a capable teenager now perhaps, but still
not yet capable of challenge the few decades old windows.
dipping toes in linux already facing driver problem, and getting used to alternative programs.
and games, "most" probably means there is a high chance tat ur games still cant work in
linux.

Linux has no official cloud storage app except for Dropbox.

Same shit as long the current CEO is around.

Alot of software still not working on Linux, and if something doesn't work you have to be good at reading technical stuff to fix it. MacOS is the best alternative for now.
