QUOTE(jojolicia @ Dec 12 2025, 12:09 AM) Plenty in Sarawak. Some of the most common ways they disguised themselves; 1. Very suspicious looking convenience stores that barely has enough stocks on display shelves. Usually on display shelves they only sell keropok, maggi and water. 2. Restaurants that barely sells real food. Each tables inside the restaurant have charging port. Even if they sell real foods usually only have 1 or 2 stalls that people rent to sell foods to kaki judi. 3. Normal looking convenience stores that have multiple tables and chairs outside of the shop. Usually there's a person who sits there selling tickets. Heard that some even disguised as barber shop though i have no idea. Just heard from hearsay. |

Apparently this is them celebrating the fall of the dictator al-Assad. With flags and fireworks, Syrians celebrate one year since fall of al-Assad. To be honest it's like their new year, and I don't see a big issue of letting their people celebrate the occasion for once. It's not like they are polluting the air with excessive fireworks anyway...

QUOTE(B0ss_ku @ Dec 12 2025, 01:37 AM) Because you are not Muslim. Have met and travelled with Muslims who say it isn't as big an issue as many make it out to be. All depends on their flexibility (eg. seafood, vegetarian, kosher)If you are Muslim and some how you have to travel to non Muslim friendly countries, you will wish it's easy to find halal food. Maybe those I've travelled with aren't those ajaran sesat type. Been Russia once and dude complained feels weird praying when sun sets at 9pm+. Told me to close the curtains so macam night. Not sure if serious or joking but we both laughed. adamw liked this post
