Even you sunbath the house for awhile, those things will be still there during evening & night time. Proof = old house/buildings are still haunted even the roof are already collapse..

The new owners have completely taken the roof away

But hor the haunted room is downstairs, wonder if they need take away the first floor as well

No guaranteed, but isn't it better to ensure it is not haunted in the first place? It's called doing due diligence. If things still go bad, at least we've done our best.

It's like we cincai marry a girl instead of making sure she's the right one, because "how to guarantee she won't turn bad after marriage?"
