QUOTE(Kelefeh @ Dec 10 2025, 10:27 AM) thank you Long answer so skip if u lazy to read :summary malay do malay business - no need halal cert non do malay business - need halal cert pretty common sense yes . think of it as a value added , not compulsory type M to type M, we tend to trust them outright. deswai if u expect those street goreng pisang nasi lemak to get sijil halal, not possible . Agree though its a bias sometime, some shop may seem like "malay" shop, but we dun know if jiken supplier ok o not, clean o not . based on trust . halal cert is a business ,involves cost, if you have one, means you survived the audit , your restaurant / establishment will go up in perception view. this is especially true for those type I/ type C restaurants who wants to get type M customers . you understand better if you go overseas, where for ayam its almost compulsory to see the halal cert before going. When ayam was in Taiwan , Had to download their halal app, to know which restaurants is halal or not . Surely the non muslims taiwanese dun care much about it ,but for muslims visited the country , its a lifesaver. That also doesn't mean its compulsory or non muslim taiwanese need to adhere to , its value added. The taiwanese pipu want to tap into the muslim tourist, deswai they do the cert. benefit ? - muslim tourist will go to their shop. at the end of the day, its just bizniz. of course its up to choice who you want to go . QUOTE(quintesson @ Dec 10 2025, 11:49 AM) conlanfirm high endQUOTE(netmatrix @ Dec 10 2025, 12:02 PM) His restaurant going to be hype for quite a while like uncle Roger. After few months later crowd will get lesser eventually. unker roger failed because its one trick ponyI wonder his food pricing is on the premium side or lower end? like how many ppl will keep repeating nasi goreng? but KA is different. got complete masakan melayu , think like serai or chef wan place, summore tourist area, can rent for events ,tiktok, etc . even 1 year ayam think will still full house .
