China is exporting deflation to the rest of the world like what Japan used to do. For us, the benefit is higher purchasing power when goods prices are lower. On the flip side, local businesses will be hard pressed to compete. Win some, lose some.

Malaysia signed a Free Trade Agreement with China for mutual benefit. It means we cannot implement protectionist policies (tariff) against China imports.
