typical wear and tear parts for a D segment, not hefty if the workshop is cheaper. but why on first visit changed lower arms then 2nd visit the lower arm ball joint busted? cap ayam parts?
on first visit during change of brake disc, lower arms they shoudve changed the stabiliser bar bush and stabiliser links already. when they opened up the lower arm they should know if the bar is fit or loose. cant brain why the double work other than they trying to milk u.
and yeah buying on shopee saves u 30-50% on the parts, if u have the time

QUOTE(tankt_92 @ Dec 9 2025, 01:36 PM) Party is because I trying to spend less, budget issue. During first visit lower arm change but not the ball joint but as per advised during 2nd visit when they dig further, lots of them showing great wear and tear marks. So my question is, is 100 to 120k km considered well utilised? And the price. I can't go to shopee because I don't know which should I buy. I'm benchmarking against workshop price btw not purchase online anything over 80k km is already moneyback, and they would had started to loosen considerably. in your case 120k km is like a 6 month bonus from toyota. sidenote: for lower arms, stabiliser bar bush and the links, it is better to change them together to prolong their lives. if one of the component is loose, it would affect the rest that are directly connected, giving them more vibration and more shock, shortening their lifespans This post has been edited by KisseD: Dec 9 2025, 03:19 PM
