Hi first of all my car Camry ACV40 was making quite alot of sound and some issues, listed as below:

1. Squeeking sound when going through uneven road and and kinda bouncy
2. Steering shaking when brake at downhill or high speed
3. Turning left and right (louder) with tak tak tak sound when parking or making sharp turn

Last major change was rear absorber 3.5 years ago (around 100k km done) whereas the other parts have not changed around 5 years + (about 130k km done)

Total repair cost as per below
First visit :-
Drive shaft left and right (visible oil grease and cover broken) - 960
Disc rotor - 450
Front brake pad - 220
Rear brake pad - 200
Rear absorber - 480
Rear absorber mounting - 300
Front lower arm left and right - 560
Labour - 300
Total - 3470

After first repair the brakes and squeeking sound settled but the tak tak tak sound still have, at a lower sound.

Second visit:-
Was told front absorber have problem as well.
Absroher link - 230
Lower arm ball joint (visible oil grease) - 250
Anti roll bar bush - 110
Front absorber (no oil leak but strut not returning when pressed) - 460
Absorber mounting - 250
Abrosber cover (visibly broken) - 90
Absorber bush (visibly broken rubber) - 60
Labour - 250
Total - 1700

Total repair cost 5170 kinda hefty... Any thoughts?

i guess its reliable car, as long the engine and gearbox still in good working condition. Its worth to repair any other wear and tear parts. If budget is concerning, you can try buy the parts from shopee and get a reliable mechanic to replace it for you.

Since they already replaced the parts and all the parts already went through more than 100k, is it considered a good time to change and also the prices are they reasonable?

Tak tak sound still there? Usually common issue with alphard and vellfire, it caused by

Steering Damper Bush
Steering Coupling
Steering Rack
Screw or underneath steering link loose

No more. So the diagnosis is correct because when the car is idle doesn't have any sound. Only when moving at low speed or parking makes that sound

typical wear and tear parts for a D segment, not hefty if the workshop is cheaper. but why on first visit changed lower arms then 2nd visit the lower arm ball joint busted? cap ayam parts?

on first visit during change of brake disc, lower arms they shoudve changed the stabiliser bar bush and stabiliser links already. when they opened up the lower arm they should know if the bar is fit or loose. cant brain why the double work other than they trying to milk u.

and yeah buying on shopee saves u 30-50% on the parts, if u have the time

Party is because I trying to spend less, budget issue.
During first visit lower arm change but not the ball joint but as per advised during 2nd visit when they dig further, lots of them showing great wear and tear marks.
So my question is, is 100 to 120k km considered well utilised? And the price.

I can't go to shopee because I don't know which should I buy. I'm benchmarking against workshop price btw not purchase online
