They can do it, if you send your car for a minor or major service kindly request for flushing the coolant / radiator flush

But if you just want to do the coolant flushing, you can send to any workshop, it's same and no need to do appointment like service centre πŸ˜ŽπŸπŸ“’πŸ’™β€οΈπŸ’™πŸ˜²

I wonder how they do it coz coolant for H is about rm40/ltr for 1 bottle
If they use flushing technique which require 7-8/ltr the cost price maybe around rm400 plus labour
If they just remove frm radiator/spare tank maybe need around 4ltr only which more cheaper

actually for flushing, you can still normal water or mineral water as the water is not gonna stay inside. even tap water also can, because ure already flushing it out. Once fully clean and can see clear water, you can then add the premix coolant. Nowadays coolant comes premix, no need to add water. Once premix added, it will be full of coolant already and we dont have to worry about the earlier water we used to flush anymore as its already replaced with coolant now. This step works all the time  notworthy.gif

The water is not totally flush out, still left few inside engine block, bend hose.
Thats why some shop flushing with coolant itself (instead of water) n require 7/8 ltr to complete which some people feel a bit waste

Why do you need to flush the radiator? Honestly... just a straight pipe down. If you look after your coolant, only mix with distilled water at about 1:1, service according to schedule, everything should be fine. I only change my coolant every 3 years since only drove for 4000km every year.

If you already see rust water, just give up. Back then I didnt knew... fellow salesmen (convoi every month to east coast to do sales) said every month change water, add coolant buat apa, rugi je. Buta2 I go follow their advice. Car still works great probably because flush with tap water every month to clear the rust water. Start engine, open butterfly cap, cucuk water hose ontop radiator hole. Flush for 10minutes or so until water become clear. Car still works fine when I sold it many years ago. It a 10 years old wira 1.5 if you are wondering. Not sure about modern cars.

Not sure but I don’t think they used 7-8 liter. If I free I go check back old receipt.

They charge about rm200-250. But that is like 10 years ago. For my case I don’t mind la. Outside foreman top up a bit water only. So I just want to be safe and replace all of the coolant. I trust them to do the required stuff after I explain.

But then again nowadays car 14 years old, outside Honda specialist told me. Car so old it’s better to top up with water. Scared coolant too strong for the system. I ignore je 🀣

ive seen cars where owner do full flush and add premix coolant, no more rust water when open cap. This is why flushing is important. At least once in many years. The rust particles needs to be flushed out.

Yes, premix is the perfect way nowadays, no need to measure or add water anymore.

Outside pomen, we can tell them what to do n can monitor
If H sc we're not allowed to go in so dunno how they do it.
If just drain radiator/spare tank, i can do it myself
