Flushing the entire cooling system once a year keeps cooling system optimum and less rusty in radiator and engine. Many workshops including service centers, service time they only take out the old coolant and put new coolant, they dont do proper flushing with water before adding new coolant. This is why when you open radiator cap after few days of service, you can see rusty water even though new coolant insideĀ
Always remember, when changing coolant time, insist on flushing before replace new coolant.
i've been driving my honda for 14 years. never had the radiator cap problem.Always remember, when changing coolant time, insist on flushing before replace new coolant.
but i never let workshop outside add tap water.
i always topup myself using genuine honda coolant.
once, already 10 years ago, i didnt realize and foreman added water. i drove to honda sc within a week and them take out all coolant out and replace will brand new coolant. not sure if they got flush.
