Perikatan Nasional secretary-general Azmin Ali has described DAP and Pakatan Harapan’s significant losses in the recent Sabah polls as a rejection by businesspersons and the Chinese community.
This is after DAP lost all eight seats it contested - mostly in urban areas with sizeable Chinese voter population - while Harapan only won one seat.

If you listen to KJ’s KS, he provided a statistical summary. DAP lost 58% of nons votes from last state elections and this one. And a total wipeout! Honestly I was shocked to see the outcome. Now we see Sarawak, Melaka.

Sabah and Sarawak politicians don't like DAP, because they are from Malaya, they prefer Singapore as hush-hush buddies. Partner in crime to stash wealth like how Pamela Ling's husband few months ago reversed the court proceedings within 1 day and claimed all Pamela Ling's wealth under his name, so convenient. QUOTE SINGAPORE: Months before she went missing, Datin Seri Pamela Ling, the wife of a prominent Sarawakian businessman sued her estranged husband in Singapore.
She had accused him of forging her signature to obtain her shares in a Singapore company, the Straits Times reported.
Datuk Seri Thomas Hah, 56, responded with a counterclaim, accusing Ling of wrongfully seizing control of his company, which owns six commercial properties in Singapore.
On April 9, Ling, 42, was reportedly abducted in Putrajaya, while she was on her way to give a statement to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in relation to a corruption and money-laundering investigation involving her and her husband.
Her disappearance made national headlines after her brother released a statement to the media on May 2.
Seven months later, with Ling still missing, Hah proceeded with his counterclaim.
On Oct 21, the High Court granted judgment in his favour after a one-day trial.
Hah testified via video link from Malaysia while two of his employees took the stand in person. https://www.nst.com.my/amp/world/region/202...onths-after-herThis post has been edited by smsid: Yesterday, 10:59 AM

Likely Sarawak is going to be another white wash like Sabah. Melaka is also another tough one cos of Akmal factor. I was at Melaka last week for hols. Spoke to some locals. They just gave a ‘wry smile’ when I talked about DAP’s/UG’s performance, even with the malays(went to those new rebus shops) as well.

Most peranakan are voting DAP out if they don’t change course. The “if you don’t vote for DAP you’ll be voting for PAS” don’t work for them.
