We're looking for a highly motivated and creative Research Analyst to help deliver engaging YouTube videos, social media content, and blog articles on news, economy, and finance. The responsibilities include planning, researching, and writing compelling content that breaks down the latest economic and financial topics for our Malaysian audience. Bonus points if you have on-camera experience or are a confident public speaker.

Role: Research Analyst / Co-host (full-time, permanent basis, office at Petaling Jaya)

Remuneration: RM 4.5k - RM 8k (depending on experience & credentials)

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Investment, Economics, Political Science, Journalism, or a related degree.
- Working Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a relevant field such as financial services, journalism, content creation, or research.
- English Proficiency: Excellent written and communicative English skills with a proven ability to translate complex financial data, terminology, and concepts into clear, concise, and engaging content suitable for a broad audience.
- Work Ethic & Collaboration: Independent work ethic and effective time management are essential, along with strong collaboration skills, including proactive idea sharing and receptiveness to feedback.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research: Stay up to date with the latest Malaysian and global market trends, financial news, policy development and economic events.
- Content Creation: Research and produce high-quality, insightful content such as long video scripts, articles, blogs, reports, guides, and thought leadership pieces focusing on finance, stock markets, investment strategies, and economic developments.
- Ensure Accuracy: Conduct thorough research, interviews (if necessary), and meticulous fact-checking to guarantee content accuracy.
- Proofread and edit content: Proofread and edit content to ensure it aligns with our brand's style, fonts, images, and overall tone, maintaining the professional standard our audience expects. Your attention to detail is crucial for upholding the integrity of our message.
- Production Support: Collaborate with the team in brainstorming sessions, assist during video shoots, and contribute to discussions on SEO optimization for video descriptions and social media content.
