im using windows 10 and so far no issues with it but there too many annoying popup to update to windows 11
i know that windows stop support 10 and we should update it to 11
but im not like pro pc and scared anything bad might happen during the update
reason because previously when i first install windows 11 via media creation tool, it says my pc is not supported due to the cpu amd ryzen 5 5600 which is weird because when i check at amd website it does support windows 11, .since it can't be installed i installed windows 10.

now because too many popup ask to update im tempt to update it but when i check trough pc health check now it says that my TPM is not detected (TPM 2.0 must be supported and enabled on this PC)
if the pc not support i guess there nothing can be done..why is there still popup

If there are no issues with other software, and you didn't go into shady website, it should be safe to use.

There is a windows interface. Linux is quite mature now. You just need to check if your key software are supported on Linux. I'm using chimera os, but since I make a steam machine to play games on the TV. So far only 3 games in my 200+ library not supported on chimera os.

if still scared, go to pc shop ask and just pay them to solve your headache, if you're not tech savvy just dont anyhow install other type of OS.

Windows 10 still safe as long as got antivirus installed. Antivirus will provides security patches.

Basically Windows 10 would not receive any more security updates. But that does not mean you cannot use it.

The best method is to install an internet security suite that covers anti virus and firewall.

Basically it replaces your windows anti virus and firewall.

Whatever comes from the internet it protected by firewall. Whatever gotten through is protected by anti virus.

You would be surprised that there are still people using Windows 7 today because they do not need to use the internet as much or at all.

If your Pc is working fine with windows 10 now, just add an internet security suite to it.

So far i have tried paid versions of Trend Micro Maximum Security, Kaspersky Standard & Avast.

All these are from cheap Shopee purchase. You could buy retail versions for full price if you like to hold a cardboard.

If you practice safe habits, eg, dont anyhow download torrent from unknown sources, install pirated software or games,
you're pretty much safe, Windows Defender real time antimalware scanner already very good

Second is, enable Secure DNS that block malicious website, eg from Cloudflare, or you can just use Cloudflare warp.
Donwside is Cloudflare may assign same IP for hundreds of user, sometimes the website may identify you as bot.

Windows 10 still can be continued to use for now, but expect software developer drops support in the future, meaning new drives, and software will not support the Windows 10.

Even a intel i7-4790 can support win11 OS, it is just the method of your installation does not support to remove the so call " not supported msg ", always use " rufus " to create win ISO so you got the option to get rid of these limitation on the window creation mediatools.

Win10 is still usable just that you don't receive updates anymore, as long as you got best practice browsing with cares and not clicking/installing/downloading from any suspicious link would be fine. For example, even though you have best antivirus in the world install on your pc but if you practice " open the door concept " meaning you click everything suspicious, installing exe from unknown sources for sure your pc still got ruined coz u open the door for them to come in
