Got it, but i feel bad for them because they will lose customer, for one, me, I'll not step in anymore. Fuk its not cheap anyway...rather eat at malay stall if i miss spicy food as they are more friendly....

there exist a culture where regardless of races they open shop not meant for you, but they cant exactly chase you out either. kena berapa sudah like this dont matter where.

Go support your local Malay eateries rather than Mamak 🤦‍♀️ because most monies will be sent back to India

I ordered food but never come. I saw the girl who took my order just show she is concerned but never check inside, probably my order was not even captured.

I experienced this several times, at different places some more, I stop going to mamak shops.

due to some rather terrible things i saw and experienced at mamaks, i have avoided such eateries for many years in the interest of food safety and my health till today.

would rather keep on walking and eat at kedai kopi/warung melayu that appears clean, organized and with proper food handling practices. no regrets....till now i haven't had any stomach aches.

That's why I stopped eating at mamak store.

Not all mamak store is like what TS claim.
Anyplace got an attitude go find other place regardless what type.

last time air kosong is foc, then 50cents.
while most charge 50cent and recently raised to rm1 ald.

mamak is not for poorman like me anymore.

in term of services we Malaysian and business here a lot to learn from Singapore.
F&B, Banking, Entertainment, customer services services ,etc line really need to improve.

Just like the majority going to work.

Never been there makan ever since. i was a regular there. mcb. really wtf culture these ppl.

Stop going to mamak la. Just avoid, your money, your choice.

I don't understand the fascination with mamak. Pricing wise it is terrible value for money if you order anything other than roti canai. If you go for their rice with lauk, good luck. Try comparing mixed rice and mamak when it comes to rice + dishes, you get the answer.

Another factor is hygiene. I look at the number of cases of food poisoning from mamak store, and am surprised that people still visit mamak despite of that.

Yup, their hygiene is just horrendous. I sometimes wonder why people don't value their health at all. For warung type, also need to be choosy. But at least on average, it is a step better than mamak.

May be that is not mamak but local Indian. Local Indian eateries are usually better.

As an added bonus, especially for cold drinks, the mixing water is also poured directly from the water pipe, not boiled or filtered. Seen it, myself! Luckily, at that time, I ordered a hot beverage. After the Covid-19 pandemic MCO, I completely stopped going to all the Mamak store.

These are rookie numbers. Just sit in any famous mamak like Kayu, Kanna in Klang valley for a hour observe the actual sales especially from Nasi Kandar queue.
