Stop going to mamak la. Just avoid, your money, your choice. I don't understand the fascination with mamak. Pricing wise it is terrible value for money if you order anything other than roti canai. If you go for their rice with lauk, good luck. Try comparing mixed rice and mamak when it comes to rice + dishes, you get the answer.
Another factor is hygiene. I look at the number of cases of food poisoning from mamak store, and am surprised that people still visit mamak despite of that.

Yup, their hygiene is just horrendous. I sometimes wonder why people don't value their health at all. For warung type, also need to be choosy.
