A 58-year-old former engineer, now undertaking his medical housemanship, is inspiring Malaysians to reconsider whether it is ever too late to follow their dream of becoming a doctor.

The story, shared on TikTok by @pgiemonzx, highlights Dr Jet's unusual career path.

"He was an electronic engineer, then gave up the career for his childhood ambition to be a medical doctor. Now at 58 years old, he is doing his housemanship.

and younger candidates you mentioned, serving the country? many would just leave the country to work overseas for better pay when they have the chance.
