Wanita yang dirakam dalam video tular baru-baru ini menafikan dia menjadi proksi kepada Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin.

Dalam video yang dimuat naik malam tadi, Sofia Rini Buyong mengakui dia ada berjumpa dengan Albert Tei namun mendakwa ahli perniagaan itu sebagai membuat kenyataan palsu dan tohmahan terhadapnya.

“Saya menegaskan di sini bahawa saya bukan proksi Shamsul Iskandar.

“Saya juga ingin memberi penjelasan bahawa saya tidak pernah berjumpa dan mengadakan sebarang perbincangan dengan PMX (Perdana Menteri Anwar Ibrahim) berhubung dakwaan yang dibuat Albert,” kata Sofia.

Pada 25 November lalu, Tei mengaitkan Shamsul Iskandar dengan skandal perlombongan Sabah, dengan mendakwa dia memberikan RM629,000 kepada pemimpin PKR itu selepas Shamsul Iskandar memberi jaminan dia boleh mendapatkan semula wang yang disalurkan kepada ahli politik di Sabah.

Shamsul Iskandar meletakkan jawatan sebagai setiausaha politik kanan Anwar pada hari yang sama.

Tei antara lain mendakwa dia diperkenalkan kepada Shamsul Iskandar oleh seorang wanita, yang menurutnya merupakan proksi kepada Shamsul Iskandar.

Pertemuan pertama mereka didakwa berlaku pada 8 Nov 2023, kira-kira jam 10 malam di kedai cerut Jesselton Cigaro di Kota Kinabalu.

Dalam video yang muncul pada malam Selasa lalu, wanita itu mendakwa Shamsul Iskandar meminta Ketua Pesuruhjaya SPRM Azam Baki “meringankan” kesnya.

Wanita itu berkata Shamsul Iskandar ada bertemu dengan Azam, memandangkan dia dikaitkan dalam skandal perlombongan Sabah dan dipanggil oleh Azam.

Apabila Tei bertanya jika Shamsul Iskandar memberitahu Azam bahawa rakaman berkaitan skandal Sabah itu “arahan PMX”, wanita itu menjawab: “Azam tahu”.

Shamsul Iskandar telah membuat laporan polis terhadap Tei dan menegaskan akan mempertahankan dirinya.

‘Ulang naratif’

Sofia juga mendakwa dia tidak pernah berbincang dengan Shamsul Iskandar berhubung lesen perlombongan.

Berhubung pertemuannya dengan Albert, dia berkata ia dirancang oleh ahli perniagaan itu dan rakaman dibuat tanpa pengetahuannya.

‘Perjumpaan sebenarnya berdurasi lebih satu jam…Albert berkali-kali mengulangi naratifnya dan berkali-kali mendorong saya untuk mengesahkan naratifnya.

“Perbuatan ini seolah-olah satu konspirasi jahat untuk mencemarkan nama PM dan Shamsul Iskandar.

“Ia satu percubaan untuk menjatuhkan kerajaan secara tidak demokratik,” katanya lagi.

Dia menolak dakwaan yang dana diberikan kepada Shamsul Iskandar berhubung lesen perlombongan, yang didakwa boleh diperoleh semula kemudian, sambil menegaskan mereka tidak pernah berbincang mengenai perkara itu.

“Saya telah meminta nasihat guaman dan meminta dan polis untuk membuka siasatan di bawah Seksyen 499 Kanun Keseksaan dan Seksyen 233 Akta Komunikasi dan Multimedia terhadap Albert dan individu di belakangnya,” tambah Sofia.

‘Tiada rasa malu’

Dalam respons segeranya, Tei berkata Sofia tidak benar-benar menafikan apa yang diperkatakannya dalam pertemuan mereka.

“Dia tidak dakwa bahawa video itu palsu atau guna AI. Bukan Albert yang katakan perkara-perkara itu, tetapi dia sendiri,” katanya dalam kenyataan.

Tei juga menyindir Shamsul Iskandar berhubung laporan polisnya, sambil berkata bahawa mengejutkan melihat Shamsul “tiada rasa malu”.

“Dialah yang mengarahkan proksinya berurusan dengan saya, meminta wang, mengambil wang itu bagi pihaknya, menetapkan janji temu pertemuan kami, dan mengesahkan keseluruhan urusan itu — dan sekarang dia pula buat laporan terhadap saya? Tolong jelaskan, Shamsul,” katanya.

Dia turut menegaskan bahawa Shamsul Iskandar tidak pernah sekali pun menyatakan dia tidak mengambil wang daripadanya.

“Sebaliknya, dia berlindung di sebalik kenyataan dramatik dan laporan polis, dengan harapan semua orang lupa bahawa proksinya sendiri secara terbuka mengakui segala-galanya.

“Mengapa serang saya sedangkan dakwaan itu datang daripada pihak kamu?” soal Tei.

Sementara itu, SPRM mengesahkan pihaknya sedang mengesan Sofia dan menggesanya untuk tampil di pejabatnya pada 1 Disember bagi memberi keterangan.

SPRM berkata kenyataan Sofia penting bagi membantu siasatan yang sedang dijalankan terhadap Shamsul.

Kata SPRM lagi, pihaknya juga telah menghubungi Tei dan menggesanya supaya hadir untuk memberi keterangan pada hari yang sama.
