No context on post. It could be a warning on how people want to disrupt China-ASEAN ties.
Temasek has a 19% allocation of investments to China.
It would be very strange for Ho Ching to rock that boat. Sinkieland number 1 trading partner remains China. No one is that dumb to rock that boat (except possibly the Aussies).

At some point, even CCP will move on from ww2. 80 years have past since ww2 end. That's at least 3 generations of new borns.
Those born without experience of war will find it difficult to appreciate the whole atrocities of war, even if taught so.
We are lucky that in Japan, 3 generations have also been born in a pacifist culture.
However, as experience and history shows in Japan, once they embrace anything, Japanese will put full effort into it. So if Japan embraces militarism, it would be naive that they would stop where pacifists (esp those who grew up in peace) would want them to stop. Japanese who grew up in peace won't also appreciate the full atrocities of war esp when their own history books don't teach it.
Can't control others but ASEAN can control its own capabilities. In that Sinkieland is not naive in its defence expenditure nor its economic prowess to back that expenditure.
