Not really the same. Aerotrain is a separate route compared to the roads that the buses must use. So you have to factor in reduced jams too.

Plus, this is software development. The developers are probably pricing this too high. 100+m per year, really?

you're half correct. I'd say, forget about the aerotrain, turn the whole rail into bus route like sunway BRT. I believe the cost to put tar on railway less than 2 km, a bit of renovation on the terminal both ends, as well as buying the bus itself is waaaaay cheaper than 700 million.

and more importantly BRT will be reliable. not piece of shit aerotrain that still breaking down time after time. LOL
