guys - accident - driver passed away - Tow Truck guy (i thought not panel/ but could be panel because he says insurance company will pay for towing) got the daughter to sign papers and towed car.

Deceased is my family member. I checked, nobody called for the tow truck, you knowlah they got informer.

The thing is the tow truck guy now asking for payment of 800Rm because he took the car for Kimia/Police procedure. He says that the money is not for towing, that he will claim that from insurance company, but we still need to pay him EXTRA because he took the car for Kimia.

Is this normal ? or just being conned ?

If did not sign/agree to anything i would be very cautious also if anyone ask for payment.

Ask the IO of your case from balai. you got the contact number right?

After that call the tow truck , say IO cakap tak payah bayar wor

becareful, once u sign someting, talk nicely to get back the car..sometimes panel will not tow it back coz panel or non panel all same truck unless allianz

kimia + puspakom on police station request.
i kena charge 250 towing 1 of the place. round trip
unable claim from comprehensive becos it is part of investigation.

is the vehicle can repair or LOT ?
when LOT case towing also demand fee like 800 or 1k
becos insur pay u directly not them (kerja buta)

My car had accident and required to be towed at around 2am, 2 months ago. Need to tow to police station first, then to bengkel. I didn't pay a single cent.

Rights after accident, should call the insurance. The insurance will despatch a tow truck for you... for free..
