i don't think they clamp your car because of that
they have CCTV, they can see where did the owner went and it is a private property which means they absolutely can clamp

for example, my nearby laundry shop has it's own compound and parking
they don't simply clamp because they can see the CCTV where did the owner went...only when the owner isn't a customer there but parked there for hours, thn they clamp

my kids school nearby mcd put freaking parking barrier gate and what not coz their parking previously open air free parking a lot sohais go there park and walk to other shops eat or work

the real customers cannot stop and eat at the mcd branch

now the parking so much space and comfortable
