for food business just assume net if half of what he earn.

so here reported 40k, means he earn net 20k roughlky
*
50% is way too high, net profit of 20%-30% is considered upper bracket already.

Nett profit of 10-15% is more common

Frankly if F&B revenue you're making 40k/month, its cukup makan only.

if F&B profit so good, most places won't close la laugh.gif It has a high failure rate because the margins really sucks for the effort that is put in to it.

I just ate there this week. The guy PR very good. He even comes up to your table and chats with you and asks for your feedback. NL ok la. I personally feel too many different stuffs on the plate for their popular sets, which mixes up the flavors. But individually, all tastes good.

Income tax for business and for work not the same. If he pannai, can pay minimal income tax.

F&B profit margin really depends on the business model, this guy runs a stall and he himself runs it, not entirely just hire worker run. So margin should be quite good.
