Symptom: pass hump around 20-40km/h got knocking "krak krak" sound , usually happens during heavy rain or after heavy rain when undercarriage is wet. This is key point

So far managed to claim from SC @ 3rd year 20k km

Then 1 month later still got knocking sound

So I changed stabilizer link (satay pin)

But still same

So halfway through after pass a hump today, I open bonnet. Lo and behold

Since suspension warranty ended after 3 years, settle outside. change both side absorber mounting and bearing

fark ori , i'm planning to change the 2nd lower arm they gave me to 555 brand punya lower arm

this one i no kesian u , ktard already say buy 2 units if buying that car

Today continue - replace lower arm

At workshop now

Have to agree , real solid tanks

Toyota got a gap (used about 1k-2k km)

I guess most likely an intentional design choice

Yep recommended to replace in pairs

You need to do your due diligence to see whether the original parts last or not

In my case , I die die won't buy back original Toyota lower arm since I suspect got defect.

Steering rack / absorber if original lasted you 7 years then I feel can buy back original

Steering rack non original seriously hit or miss. Ok to buy aftermarket if it's your 2nd car

Personal opinion, if you can buy parts with 555 sankei brand, go for it
