My 2018 NCP150 using 2NR-FE like yours, 2 month stock then pasang 7jj rim & lowering spring.

Until my 7th year only got squeaky sound and annoying steering rack groan.

Quote from a workshop on the wear and tear:

NCP150/NSP151
-Absorber original toyota
*Front 2pcs RM500
*Rear 2pcs RM330

-Absorber mounting heavy duty 2pcs 300
-Absorber cover 2pcs 120
-Satay link 2pcs 90

-Absorber bearing ori 2pcs 120
-Upah pasang depan 60, belakang 60
NCP150 dan NSP151 2014-2021

-Steering Rack Rebuild RM550
Warranty 3 bulan or 5,000km

or/atau

-Steering Rack OEM Thailand V2 improved quality RM950
Warranty 6 months or 10,000km

or/atau

-Steering Baru Original Toyota RM2750
No warranty

Tie Rod End OEM Thailand 2pcs RM160
Lower Arm Heavy Duty Thailand 2pcs RM600
Stabilizer Bush PU 2pcs RM90
Satay Link Heavy Duty PU 2pcs RM90

Upah pasang steering rack & lower arm RM150

Sendiri calculate.

You need to do your due diligence to see whether the original parts last or not

In my case , I die die won't buy back original Toyota lower arm since I suspect got defect.

Steering rack / absorber if original lasted you 7 years then I feel can buy back original

Steering rack non original seriously hit or miss. Ok to buy aftermarket if it's your 2nd car

Personal opinion, if you can buy parts with 555 sankei brand, go for it

so far no family member company that.
i did notice it slightly low air speed and higher temp compare to front airvent. but i think probably due to only 1 single blower at front doing all job.
and the cold air running thru the duct too far away.

Did ur mechanic go down the undercarriage and check in detail?
I went a few shops and all of them say the suspension sound is so loud, front suspension is all out and need to change, but non of them bother to have a look nor checking the rear auspension.
I managed to diagnose this myself and change all by myself in the end. Now most of the annoying noise have gone and the remaining noise is due to the worn steering rack bush.
The sound at undercarriage can come from anywhere. U need to perform proper inspection and testing before come to the diagnosis.
Fxxk those lousy con mechanic
