all MNOs were condemning the SWN and DNB .. yet the prick still go ahead with it..

so what shit you are putting the blame to PH
*
of course all MNOs will condemn, because their interests is on shareholders, not the general public. its like all malaysians condemn gov raising tax. nobody like tax hike but necessary given the right situation.

telcos has 4 generations to prove themselves that free capitalism will yield a good cheap price with wide coverage service. but they dont. its time for gov to change the way than keep repeating the same method again and again, hence the DNB. PH don't understand that concept, then they intro 2nd DNB.

dungu.

Because DNB supposed to be a monopoly like TM and TNB

But when gov introduce DNB2 of course DNB lose it market share and money
*
so fast lose market share? UMobile5G network is not even accessible yet for most people. only a handful of people able to access it and still under expansion where many areas still don't have UMobile5G coverage.

DNB poached staff with 2.5x-3x salary when they started.. after 1 year, cant afford to renew contract...

their staff costs are astronomically not proportionate to their opex

monopoly pun can lose money, PMX sudah decide to let private sector take over DNB and form 2nd 5g company by giving to umobile

That's why US trying hard to pressure us not to buy 5g equipment for Huawei for umobile 5g.

it's expected consequence when you setup second consortium to compete with DNB. initial formula is based on SWN in terms of cost and revenue.

but when you introduce another player, the cost remain the same, but the revenue will drop because you lost market share to competitor.

Unlike other industries, you cant simply reduce or provide smaller coverage. especially when you already commit to provide as wide coverage as possible.
it was another GST moment for PH.
*
Since when DNB was for profit?

Offering cheap per MB costs to telcos, leasing existing telcos infra and starting greenfield both RAN and Core network with one vendor and no second one to leverage against

Their mandate memang for wide coverage and expedited rollout, not commercial gain or even cost efficiency. The exit plan was for telcos to take over by assuming equity when DNB ran its course.

You stick to coverage and freezing out a potential security risk in Huawei as the chief objectives boleh lar

You say second consortium to introduce second vendor screw up their exit plan then make sense la

But you conflating few other things with a whole lot of confidence brother.

A whole lot of confidence
