The traction rating is not accurate tho for each different tire manufacturer. As per feedback few post before, i got highlight even Westlake Sport SA37, has a UTQG rating of 280 AA A also not vey good in wet condition during actual test. Is better to check for independent test report like those from tyre review comparing few actual tires on the same testing ground/facility for a more fairer comparison.

Summary: UTQG ratings are not entirely accurate because manufacturers self-report the grades based on limited testing, which allows for manipulation and a lack of standardization between brands. The treadwear test is conducted only for 7,200 miles, requiring manufacturers to extrapolate the results, and they are allowed to under-report a tire's potential life to provide a lower, more competitive number for that specific model.
The AA grading is somehow tricky because some budgets brands are playing trick on this. Like achilles tyres they have 1 tyre pattern (forgot the name) the rating is AA. Yes the wet grip is good when the tyre is new, but after 20% usage the wet traction slump. This is reported by many car enthusiasts. https://www.consumerreports.org/cars/tires/...0the%20warranty.

For UTQG it is US standard but many tyre brand can play trick on it. But at least do not buy the tyre with treadwear below 300 if we hope for 40k km lifespan. Those treadwear 400 we can expect 40k km +-.
It is always good that we can check the tyre review online before buying the tyre. However most Chixx or south east asia tyre brands do not have testing result because they are cap ayam brand. In China if we have money we can ask the OEM factory to put the brand name like littlefire tyre or autodriver tyre and sell it to Malaysia. Best part is both brands same bunga, sidwall, all the tyre content are exactly same because from the same factory.
