Hello, just like to ask for suggestions for fencing for both my front door and side door, as i have dogs and whenever it rains or fireworks, they will panic and will scratch everything, so my wooden door already have a few scratches, and the side door as well, what type of fencing should i get that is solid ? I've been searching on shopee and there's plenty but not sure which is really good to block dogs from scratching or climbing over the fence.

So preferably a fencing that is portable, when got fireworks / rain, then we just place the fencing or blocker.

My side is a folding door about 8x8, front is wooden door standard 6x8, appreciate any suggestions. cool2.gif

why not just let the dogs in?.. they will feel safe with family members around.. will eventually find their own safe place to hide..

Because my dogs is always outside, we don't keep them indoors, we let them roam outside and hence dirty and all, so its only for when they are scared during fireworks or raining, then we open up the side to let them go in front, but they will still scratch stuff, so a blocker / fencing is the next best thing.

Do you have a pet car seat cover?
I usually put mine in the car during fireworks, the sound insulation’s way better there.
If you are thinking about a fence, you can try metal ones or those baby safety fence, but they don’t really hold up against bigger dogs.

putting any temporary blocker may ruin your house aesthetic... perhaps consider a cage?..maybe a large foldable?.

it's normal doggo scare of thunder and fireworks.

build them a kennel and lock them inside when that happens.

or just make grille for your doors.

Good suggestions, depending on the dog size too, small one will work but average they will jump over the baby gate πŸ˜‰πŸ”₯
