i LOVE going to the cineplex alone. those with partners say pathetic la, boring la, ask them to go f***ing swivel. I am there for the movies not for your bloody company.

- handphone or SMS are equally annoying. the light annoys just as much as the light. i could care if you are a doctor, can't have 2 hours to watch a movie uninterrupted? don't watch!
- talking about the story or explaining stuff -> very much annoying. don't ruin the show just because you are too stupid to comprehend or have short attention spans. watch it again or ask later.
-going to toilets -> YES, it is annoying. can't you time your f***ing bladder. go before the movie and for f*** sake, don't go ordering a BIG coke and use that as an excuse.
-EATING. yes EATING! for f*** sake, eat before the movie or during trailers or whatever. the crunching sound is indeed distracting.
-people kicking chairs and shaking legs annoyingly affecting front seats.
-block heads (depends la). sometime the head blocking you is doing so because the head in front of him/her is blocking that bugger. can tolerate. but otherwise, sit the f*** down properly. TGV Balakong stairs is much appreciated.

that's all i can think off.

Added on November 15, 2007, 11:37 pmmore times than not? it happens during blockbusters. it is then those chinese bengs , malay f***ers, indian suckers and lain-lain popheads start coming up of their caves and act like uncivilized barbarians in the cineplex.

which is why i watch a blockbuster twice. once during opening day and once three weeks after opening night as those retards would have cleared. less famous the movie generally have more civilized fans as then, only real movie buffs who know cineplex etiquette will visit.

I know I AM selfish but for me, increase the damned ticket prices to rm 15 once and for all. That way, less retards will watch movies and more civil people will continue.

Given but most of the retards I have encountered are bratty children who do whatever they wish wherever they are at. During talking scenes of Beowulf, these bunch of girls were playing a Jay Chou song to entertain themselves. How infuriating.

Best part about some movie goers is that they ask other people to shut up but talk VERY LOUDLY themselves and discuss the story and kick people's chair. Some movie goers whistling.gif

I remove the batteries so all alarms or messages won't be received. I could give a f*** to anyone trying to call me during a movie, yes even my parents. At home, I lock my room when I am watching and wear Seinheiser headphones and blast it if I am watching a decent movie. For Transformers or Die Hard sort of movies, no need la. Cannot hear dialogue also can appreciate whistling.gif

Added on November 18, 2007, 10:23 pmPS when you have children, bring your wife along to keep the baby's mouth shut. Either with a tit or a bottle of milk. And my mom always stayed at home till I was old enough not to interrupt or my mouth stuffed with a pacifier.

Agreed. People with zero tolerance are on the same level as those with zero consideration smile.gif
*
Rules are there already (as stated at the back of your ticket). Though no fine is placed if you ignore them, it just shows how daft and inconsiderate you are for ignoring them at other people's discomfort. Think you are too big to ignore your phone, don't enter. Yes I have zero tolerance. Bite me. Think you have a bladder too small? Don't enter the f***ing cinema hall either. I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE GO IN AND OUT OF A LONG MOVIE (Lord of the Rings and Titanic as notable examples). Cinemas should ban popcorn and drinks. It causes disturbance (eating crunching sound) and people walking out to piss.

And don't f*** with your legs on other people's armrest. I could care less if you are Yao Ming. Too tall? Don't enter as well. Don't let your shit poor shoes brush my elbow.

-rant concluded-

ps: this is part 2 of my rant. part 1 is a few pages earlier.

Tips to anyone wanting to watch movies:

1) During blockbusters, pick the earliest times as then, most kids don't watch as they are in school. It is also during that time where more civil people are in the halls. Why? Think about it. Retards wake at noons or have school or whatever. This applies for children's movies as well.

2) Start with "Shhhhh..." when asking people to shut up. Should they provoke you with "Siapa tikus shhhh.....? Berani, mari lawan la?" or "Ngo zhong yue ah, lei chui ah?", don't fight back. They are just stupid. Don't lower yourself by arguing in the middle of the hall at other people's discomfort. You will be no different from those retards. Just curse your luck and mutter "f*** it" and try to change seats to front or back (depending on density of seated audiences). Fighting will make you miss the movie as will 'settling it outside.'

3) NEVER STOP SUGGESTING to cinema managers (I know the Leisure Mall one well) to place ushers to silence rowdy audiences. If all of us suggest, you never know, they could change policies. Try telling the usher collecting tickets to look out for stupid audiences. Some are very friendly and actually do their job. A mother was asked to leave the hall as her baby was disturbing others.

4) If it is too much, walk out and ask for a refund. I did it when I was watching Transformers a third time when I got fed up of a Malay bunch of retards acting as if they know cars trying to spot every car on screen. I walked out and asked for a refund. Staff of course will put on a sour face and say they will ask an usher to silence the kids, but don't back away, MAKE THEM GIVE YOU A REFUND. I did it, maybe you can?

QUOTE(prelude23 @ Nov 20 2007, 08:40 AM)
Some of you here said even answering a short call is considered annoying? Can you guys be bit tolerance?

I usually put my phone on silence. Never like the idea of switching it off. Sms I'll ignored it because sms is never considered emergency but I will answer calls. I try to cover my phone as much as possible so the light will not affected the one sitting beside me. And I also speak real softly too. Is this consider an annoyance too?

I agree with the one saying zero tolerance = zero consideration. If you cant tolerate others, why should others tolerate you? You dont expect others to follow every single rules and ethic. What if your family is admitted to the hospital suddenly and they call you? You sure you wont answer it? If you still insist no, you're a big moron.
*
Oh yes it is annoying. If you can't do that, don't enter. Though zero tolerance = zero consideration but if you can't conform to the rules, don't enter. Just because you don't follow every rule and ethic, you expect everyone else to have such leniency? NO WAY JOSE. As someone said, imagine a funeral or a wedding or church? Though a movie is not that 'big' an event to you, you are spoiling my fun and wasting my hard earned money. Just because you think it's alright, you expect others to think so to. Just because you tolerate doesn't mean others do. If everyone eats crap, you don't, do you? They are all retards if they answer their phones and no, it's not too strong of a word to use.

I think grabbing stranger's boobies is alright. Maybe I should do it.

Yes I am ultra-sarcastic and I am an *******. Feel free to ignore this post.

the kinds of people who say we have zero tolerance = zero consideration are kettles themselves. They expect everyone to tolerate them and be considerate in letting them answer their calls/sms-es. In the end, when we disagree with their actions, the name calling begins. smile.gif Some considerate people. smile.gif Is it that hard to read the back of the ticket?

im seriously thinkign ur trolling la.. u cant even tolerate people eating popcorn..... thats, very, f***ed up.....
popcorn and movies are synonymous to each other.... honestly man, why do you even bother going to the cinema if u cant tolerate a minor distraction..... anyways, have there even been anymovies lately that are so engrossing till u cant miss a frickin millisecond of it?
*
i too can't tolerate popcorn and drinks. i dont understand why cineplexes sell them. I mean i understand (impulse purchases - profit) but still i thought they were there for us to enjoy movies. doh.gif

wow.. cant tolerate popcorn... and drinks ??  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

right, so u cannot tolerate people who can't tolerate popcorn.

so much for being tolerant. rolleyes.gif

guess my clap says it all as well whistling.gif whistling.gif

PS: Just so you know, in case you think it's only the three of us, watch the first of the two YouTube video someone posted, even the advertisement in the theater asks the audience not to eat popcorn, so even cinemas ask audience not to do it. Just because you do it doesn't make it okay. wink.gif

nola.. i can tolerate ppl who cant tolerate popcorn.. i just clapped only.. lol

an 1 more thing..i hate popcorn =.=

i oni drink in the cinema.. which sthing which u cannot tolerate too i guess. lol
*
i can tolerate drinking, but make sure the drinker use his/her brains. imagine a full house watching LOTR or Titanic. From second hour to third hour, every one person get up once to pee what he drank, it'd be f***ing annoying. Use brain la.

I know I am nitpicking tongue.gif Anyway, I can tolerate quite a lot actually. Laughter, coughing, sneezing - why? They can't be controlled. Oral fixation? Use chewing gum wink.gif Just as effective, twice less annoying and three times cheaper. thumbup.gif

So what if one of your family members are admitted to the hospital? You're gonna finish you movie first then you rush to the hospital? In some circumstances, we need to answer our calls.

And mind you, there is no rules stated calls are not allowed to be answer in the cinema. Just do it ethically.
*
Okay given, honestly speaking, how many calls have you answered that aren't from your parents in the cineplex? I'd bet you go friend emergency as well.
