How do I claim or use Shanghai Disneyland ticket that I bought from Trip.com?

They just email me the receipt and GAL code.

Description say just use passport to enter.

But I search online some say can get the QR code beforehand to make the entry faster.

Anyone went there recently with ticket bought from Trip.com?

Looks like a scam to me

Download the Shanghai Disney App. and register it with the code you received. I did this last time I went there. You can just visit the park by using the QR code on the app. You need to use the app.

No need to do anything. They will track ur ticket from the GAL code to enter at disneyland. When u bought the tickets u key in ur passport number right? Its all linked to ur passport number

I just went there last month. China is abit weird. Dont have ticket.

Other disneyland i go to all got ticket

Anyway not to spoil ur trip or what but shanghai disneyland not up to par with other disneylands i been.

Somehow just didnt have the disneyland vibes

On the app go to Plan > Add your Ticket > Create a Party > Scan or enter the confirmation number

You should get the QR/Number on your email once Trip has confirmed?

You need to add to the app to get things like Reserve or DPA pass

Also, which Ticket did you bought on Trip?

I'm heading there next month and still surveying which ticket I should get. As this has more choices compared to Japan lol.

Bought from Klook last year, also got the GAL code

Just need to show at the entrance with passports only, then all good

Then if want buy the early entrance ticket from the Disneyland Shanghai app also can link the GAL code ticket to it and buy it there.

I think China wanna monitor, so they bind each ticket to a identity. If not can resell to another person.

Yup. The Tron ride was ridiculous. I nearly puked because the Gforce is mad. I queued for about 1hour.

Yes everything in China is linked to id or passport. Even the train tickets i booked on trip, i had to use my passport to redeem at shanhai honqiao railway station

if you read the review on klook, it seem they say just give them your passport at your gate

everything is tied to your passport, same as their HSR tickets

When before covid. Just show the code at the entrance. Because I brought together with hotel so I just use the code at the hotel lobby like normal.

Step 1: Find your GAL code
Check the confirmation email or voucher you received when you bought the tickets, often from a third-party site like Klook.
The GAL code should be a long string of characters, which may be at the beginning of your order number or other ticket information.

Step 2: Register in the app (Method 1: Guest Registration)
Open the Shanghai Disney Resort Official App and log in.
Navigate to "Reservation" or a similar section.
Look for "Guest Registration" and tap it.
Enter your GAL code when prompted. This should add all guests associated with that code to your account.

Step 3: Register in the app (Method 2: Early Park Entry Pass workaround)
If you can't find "Guest Registration," try going to the "Early Park Entry Pass" section.
The app may direct you to a page to enter your GAL code to "buy" or register for the pass, notes this Lemon8 post.
Input your GAL code here to link your tickets.

Step 4: Bring your passport for entry (this is very important; without it, you cannot enter the park.)

Also, some games / lucky draw, or special merchandise require you to use the app to reserve a slot or participate.

I was informed if we using ROAMING lmode, it is difficult to call Didi or pay via Alipay .. is it true? Does this mean have to buy their eSIM?

Never had issues, Alipay and WeChat Pay worked perfectly fine

Didi I just use the built in mini app in Alipay and it’s also fine
