actually it is like that for centuries until Ottoman came and give it some peaces.
The biggest problem to the palestine issue is not Hamas or Israel.
Is, neither party is given the full hand to finish the job once and for all.
Foreign parties are too greedy to maintain their influence there, both parties hand are tied.
If the entire region is controlled by one victor at 1967, do you think we will see all this happen?
Israel is able to accommodate Arab/Palestinian. They already have it now.
Agree and thanks for providing the historical context to the region. There are never an everlasting peace in that land, as if it is cursed to be bathed in blood, unfortunately. The biggest problem to the palestine issue is not Hamas or Israel.

There is no one else to blame but the people themselves (do NOTE that I mentioned the people themselves and not specifically mentioned P or I, as the region is more than just P or I). They allowed themselves to be used or they abuse their powers/authority over their own people. If there are foreign influences, they can easily reject these with much difficulty (this I can understand cos the oil monies is too much to reject). And then of course, to make things worse, you have religions which are also split into different sects and what-nots. All those are just perfect potpourri of instabilities, political espionage and wars. So in a not surprising way, we can make a simple conclusion that they asked for it and have to live with what they asked for.
What can we do so far away plus not able to speak their languages? They cannot even sit down and AGREE for a peaceful solution even amongst their own tribes, don’t even mention with other countries in the regions. It is like Afghanistan now. Everyone wants to lead and enjoy the fruits of a leader.
That’s the futility of the situation now. I may sound simplistic but that is my view of the situation. Solution? I cannot see any solution as long as the warring parties are not interested to stop the conflict or control their tribes from shooting at each other after they had a tiff with their spouses…🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
