I had a friend who did one-to-one freelance tuition for a while before quitting. Jobs tend to slow down during end of schooling year (after exam period) and major school holidays (students gone for vacation). So if you're ok with a bit of inconsistent work, then no problem.

most students/parents pick their tuition teacher/center based on the tips they can provide
so if u can get your hand on proper exam tips, u r good to go, else very tough competition

its good to start learn, maybe do part time tutor to gain experience. dont think too far on retirement become tutor
