As mentioned earlier FIFA will not release the evidence until the CAS proceedings begin. FAM has no choice but to take the case to CAS after FIFA likely rejects their appeal within a month. The outcome will depend on how willing the IC department in Spain is to testify before CAS to confirm that the player’s grandma was indeed a Spanish citizen and born in Spain. The player and his family have no choice but to stand with FAM. It’s going to be a tough battle ahead.
