I dont know if i exercise abit of otak capabilities pun i cant help to nak question ada mungkin 1 year wujud 1128 applicants for accounting course with perfect CGPA 4.0 + 10 marks curriculum that is better than 99.9 (hence ranked 1129).
More likely the case the the 1128 people are sums of all perfect score top scorer but good portion of it apply for Med, Lawyer, Pharmacies and other.
Then that 1129 is not the true picture but only to confuse simple minded people like TS. So if its real meritocracy, why can't show the real ranking in just accounting applicants only. Aku rasa lebih kepada manatukkasi la meritocracy konon.
In Edward’s case, the MOE has clarified that the 1127 candidates ranked ahead of him all achieved 100 full merit marks( with a 4.00 CGPA with maximum cocuriculum scores. There are only 1266 straight As STPM students in total and even if 10% of them applied for accountancy (which is very unlikely) that would still leave around 900–1000 matriculation students from the arts stream holding full merit marks. More likely the case the the 1128 people are sums of all perfect score top scorer but good portion of it apply for Med, Lawyer, Pharmacies and other.

It is also highly unlikely and almost impossible that science stream students with a perfect 4.00 CGPA would apply for accountancy. Edward himself is ranked 2nd among those with a 99.90 merit score, so his subject combination should not have been an issue for the ranking contrary to what TS claimed.
