i saw articles mentioned live translation will be available for app2 and ap4

so if you are buying app3 just for this function you might need to rethink

ap 4 with anc. not ap4. people get app3 is for better 4x anc ,

its only 2 times if you are upgrading from app2 right?

mostly positive and was regarded as one of the most worthy to buy airpods pro product after 3 years of waiting for refresh.

sound quality improved especially vocals.
transparent mode is now even better than before.
ANC is better but certainly not as what apple advertised as 2x ANC than previous gen.
now the ear buds fits even more than previous gen but similar to any in-ear earbuds, after 2 hours or more of listening to music, ears will still feel uncomfortable. think for those who are more sensitive to this, airpods 4 ANC may still be a more excellent choice.

I don't think so. It is translation via live conversation not using app.

With this powerful new feature, users can translate all types of conversations — whether over the phone or while using FaceTime, in person, or asynchronously in Messages — right when they need to. It protects user’s privacy with on-device processing, so personal conversations stay personal.

In Messages, Live Translation can automatically translate a user’s response as they type and deliver it in the recipient’s language.^4 During FaceTime calls, users can follow along with live translated captions while still hearing their friend or family member’s voice. Haha. Looks like no choice. Got my AirPods Pro 2 during launch month in 2022. Already gonna be 3 years old.
