I hilang Suunto 8 years back. Used for timing my cycling downhill in karak . Very accurate and robust watch. Bought 2nd hand. Very sturdy.
Didn't try Garmin.

Sorry, forgot to mention, I fall down alot , some high speeds but mostly low speeds. Rocky hilly areas as I did alot of mountain biking and terrain cycling. Suunto survived all. Hence very very robust. ktek liked this post
