Garmin local support by Aeco is not up to standard. Had a Forerunner 645 in the past with global known issue but Aeco said nothing they can do about it. Ended up moving to Coros with a Pace 3 which is newer & even cheaper than my old FR645.

Once my fenix rosak. Ayam thinking of coros / sunto.
The latest fenix F8 is just too atas for ayam. Even the one gen down F7 still pricey.

* can I port all my data across to other platform?

3. Use a Third-Party App (for bulk transfer):
Download a compatible third-party application like RunGap or FitnessSyncer.
These apps can connect to both Garmin Connect and the Suunto app and automatically sync your activity history.

from google..

i'm waiting for Suunto Race 2 to launch, only decide to go for it or the FR 970

Wokeyyyy. 10Q got the tip.
heppi can ports all the data across over.
no need to start at zero all over again.

Yes sunto /coros.
They got navigational maps too right? Turn by turn... Etc

Ayam joined Strava quite late, a few months after.

Strava data already stationed there. No problem if we change new devices.

10/10 sale.. for 999 i just click buy without thinking.

so far battery for 5 days, badminton 2 hours x 2, outdoor runs 1 hour x 3, now its at 50%
i think it will last more than a week for my usage.

Owner of race s, then sold it off as it don't have sapphire glass and also waiting for instinct 3 amoled. Once it get release, then only realized it got no touch screen, wtf.

So now still monitoring for my next watch. Maybe the newly released race 2, but design looks similar to race s

Im using garmin vivo active 5. Mainly as daily wear + normal workout only. Before that went to retail tried sample to see which one I like.

Suggest ts go retail ask, hands on.. then u will know which brand you prefer.

I m using Garmin FĒNIX 8 solar.

The function is overwhelming. Accurate for health screening.

Cons is the screen is not that bright and battery not last as what they claim even with solar charge.

just looking to upgrade to bigger screen and battery..
current forerunner 245 battery seems like dying and charging port problem.

F.R 245 or 265 is more than enough for your activities.

had a suunto 7... works fine and all. responsive and beautiful screen.. only downside was battery life (2 days or less) and with gps its in 6 to 8 hours... comes with a magnetic charger which is quite cool. but after that the magnetic charger can only charge at a certain angle.. which is a bit off.. that was before garmin comes out with the 900 series with amoled screen.. less than 1 year after suunto 7, got fr 965.. 21 days battery on normal days. and 1 to 2 weeks on active weeks. not bad.. after 1 year of usage still the same.

down side for fr965, still love the suunto 7 screen. but the battery beats all.
