Dia bagi semua - not just to certain groups

Is indeed a statement

Good things kena bagi thumbs like la

Tak reti syukur - then u take a long hard look at indonesia.

That is what it looks like kalau bangang yang mentadbir negara.

Seumur hidup aku tak pernah sekali pun rasa duit free kerajaan hulur untuk beli barang dapur. Selalu kalau bab bantuan, nama aku confirm tercicir. Aku ni doktor, kerja siang malam, masa covid orang tabik konon hero. Tapi bab nak rasa duit masuk tangan, haram tak pernah. Lagi-lagi, duit kita la jugak yang selalu kena ambik.

Tapi tadi lain. Aku pi Econo Titi Chai Kangar, tengok orang beratur panjang gila. Isteri aku pesan beli telur ja, aku pun tanya Kak Nab jiran aku. Dia kata hari ni boleh claim RM100 bantuan yang PMX umum. Aku macam, eh biar betul. Sekali try, ya Allah… terus jadi.

Aku lapar pulak time tu, tangan pun laju borong barang dapur. Satu troli penuh aku tolak balik rumah. Perasaan dia lain macam weii. Lega, syukur, rasa macam baru sekali dalam hidup ni aku betul-betul dihargai sebagai rakyat.

Serius aku nak ajak hangpa semua, jangan tunggu lama. Pi la pasar, guna IC, claim rezeki ni. Bukan tiap-tiap hari kita dapat peluang macam ni. Kadang benda kecil ja, tapi impak dia besar. Aku sendiri yang selalu rasa terabai pun, kali ni rasa terbela.

lu pegi sekolah dulu, not government school?
lu pegi study, not use government scholarship?
lu pegi fill petrol, not use government subsidy?
etc
etc

then say never got bantuan?

actually bro, b40 also got all those.
but b40 got a lot of other bantuan as well.

the one who falls under the category of this doctor are those struggling at bottom/mid M40. they are the ones not comfortable.
if they get comfortable/relax, they will fall into b40.

B40 gets a lot of help. T20 dont need much help and have other sources for "bantuan". that leaves the M40, the one that are the working middleclass.
their significant contribution stems from their consumption of goods and services, engagement in the formal workforce where they pay income taxes, and participation in the workforce as professionals, skilled workers, and entrepreneurs, which stimulates economic activity and growth.

but they are ALWAYS left out. at least thats how they feel.
even though they need help, but they didnt get.
being the most contributing to the country, but got the least help from the country.

i understand because even though my salary is considered a lot, and on paper my household is only 3 person. i actually take care of a lot of extended family due to unforeseen circumstances (death, lost of income of family etc) so my actually household is not 3 but much much more than that.

this b40, m40, t20 categorizing also not that good.
income 5K to 11K (example) is considered M40.

so 2 families, one is 3 person household. household income is 7K.
another family, 8 person household. Household income is 7K as well.
u cant categorize these 2 families into M40. their income might be same, but their usage/expenses are different!

TLDR, this doctor is just glad that finally he feels like he gets something, gets appreciated as well because he never gets anything. we dont know how is his finances, how big his "actual" household is etc.

not all doctors are T20 bro.

At least he shows a grateful attitude. Nowadays, gratitude seems to be becoming less and less common. From my perspective, if this trend continues, the value of being grateful may eventually disappear.

“As a Malaysian, I am thankful for the government’s continued support through various subsidies, such as fuel, education, and healthcare, as well as assistance for basic necessities like cooking oil and other essential items. These efforts have greatly helped to ease the cost of living and support the well-being of the people.

On the darker side, it is noticeable that many within the B40 group face rising rates of obesity and are commonly engaged in habits such as vaping and smoking. These lifestyle choices may pose serious long-term health risks and counteract the benefits provided through subsidies and assistance.”

Topic is not about B40 vs T20

Just that he said he never get anything, except for this time RM100.

But other people point out. At the very least if he pump petrol, it subsidized petrol. If he went to school, its government school.

Showing gratitude no need to post on social media.

If you really want to put it on social media, think before you submit post.

He wrote:

"Seumur hidup aku tak pernah sekali pun rasa duit free kerajaan hulur untuk beli barang dapur. Selalu kalau bab bantuan, nama aku confirm tercicir."

and

"Aku ni doktor, kerja siang malam, masa covid orang tabik konon hero. Tapi bab nak rasa duit masuk tangan, haram tak pernah. Lagi-lagi, duit kita la jugak yang selalu kena ambik."

If you reflect, yes very rare for government bantuan barang dapur to all rakyat, but you must know, why must governement give bantuan to those who can afford beli barang rumah? And he said, confirm nama dia tercicir. Abuden, you earn RM10k (considering you are operating GP), you expect governement to give you handout? It is called bantuan for goodness sake.

And he further emphasize, duit dia je selalu kena ambil (assuming he is talking about income tax). The money that government collect from income tax and other taxes, are being put into building all the infrastructure that we see now. Public roads, public schools, subsidized petrol and other things that has been highlighted by others here.
